Alisha's novels further showcase her vast literary talent and skills.  She penned her first self-published novel in 2003.  Upon capturing the attention of Urban Books, LLC, her self-published title, Lovin' You Is Wrong was re-released under this mega publisher, and then soon earned the title of Essence® Bestseller.  Since her stroke of success, she has penned her second Essence® Bestseller, I Don't Wanna Be RightNaughty Girls, and contributed to the urban tale, Around the Way Girls-3.  In May 2009, Alisha will deliver her highly-anticipated novel, The CleanUp Woman.  

Alisha Yvonne is indeed a woman of many talents. In addition to being a novelist, playwright, screenwriter and editorial consultant, she is also a ghostwriter.  She has recently added, Editor-in-Chief of Bluff City Entertainment Magazine to her résuméAlisha's aspirations are unstoppable. She plans to build her writing career, releasing work for the Young Adult arena as well as non-fiction in the near future. 

Alisha continues to reside in Memphis with her daughters. She is a member of several online literary groups which include R.A.W.4ALL, Writersrx, RealSistaWriters, Fictionfolks, and ReadersnFriends. She is president of Memphis-R.A.W. Local Chapter Book Club. In her spare time, she loves to read, listen to soft music and watch Lifetime movies. Her ultimate enjoyment is derived from spending time with her girls.
